The rail system from HESS for the extension of the bicycle carrier is simply unbeatable for the extension of the existing carrier.
When using a bicycle rack, we always recommend replacing the standard gas pressure shock absorbers from VW with a reinforcement set. Due to the higher weight of the tailgate, the original dampers can no longer hold it. The variable kit we developed for the VW T5 and T6 solves this problem. We have the right dampers for every load on the tailgate on offer
